EXPRESS COURSES
Businesses or large group bookings have the option to register for an express delivery, as long as the following applies to all learners.
Our express courses are designed for learners who have previously completed first aid training or have prior knowledge and or skills from working in the same field. Students who enrol in our express courses will complete the majority of their training online in their own time prior to attending their practical assessment day. The practical assessment day will range between 1-4hrs depending on the course and numbers in the group. Learners are expected to perform assessments only after having completed the pre-study refreshing their current knowledge and skills. Details of the course outline and assessments will be confirmed in the enrolment emails.
PRE-ENROLMENT CONDITIONS: There are no formal prerequisites required for registering for our express courses. Learners are required to provide their trainers with evidence of their previous first aid certificate (Statement of Attainment) or applicable qualification and confirmation of all pre-course learning. ‘Statement of Attainments’ can not be issued unless these documents are presented to your trainer.
WHAT TO EXPECT IN YOUR PRACTICAL SESSION: Students will be expected to perform tasks relating to assessment requirements for the course they are enrolled in. This will include scenarios where the student is to demonstrate knowledge and skills for several incidents presented. Students should feel confident and show competency in their abilities to the assessor on the day. Time may be allocated for additional training if the assessor feels it necessary, depending on class numbers, time and the amount of adjustment required.
ESTIMATED TIME FOR PRE-STUDY: Please note this is a guide only. All pre-study is the same for both express and standard delivery and is a requirement prior to attendance.
